Blackacre Farm has been run by the Wood family for over 30 years and has long been known for its consistently delicious eggs, which were the first to be awarded a Gold 1* in the internationally acclaimed Great Taste Awards.  Blackacre's eggs are produced on its farm in North Cheriton and by some great free-range producers in Dorset and Somerset, who have been individually chosen by the family to ensure that they have a similar ethos.

The eggs are packed on its Somerset farm and are printed with a code which when typed into a section on its website tells the customer where their eggs have been laid and also a little bit about the farm, the family that runs it and most importantly the chickens!

Healthy, happy hens lay the best eggs and this is central to the farm's success.
